2000+ Thai people registered online to fight against Russia in Ukraine

It seems that the Ukrainian President’s statement that whoever wants to join forces to fight Russian invades has attained an enormous response from across the world.

A pro-democracy campaign in Thailand that emerged in 2020 has responded to the Ukrainian President’s call by registering at the Ukraine embassy for any possible recruiting.

Chanaphong, 28, said he felt upset for the Ukrainian people, particularly after the reports of the Russian attack on civilians.

He says he has been fighting for democracy and opposing tyranny his whole life, and since Ukraine are also fighting for the same course, he feels fit to join and support them.

He and his friends have already registered to gather for possible recruiting. In a single day this week, a Thai-language online group gathered more than 2,000 names of people interested in volunteering for Ukraine.

However, the Ukrainian embassy in Bangkok did not reply to the details.
