On March 21, 2021, the multiparty democracy politics stakeholders submitted their report to President Samia at the Magogoni statehouse in Dar es Salaam.

While highlighting what is presented in the report, President Samia hinted about the need to have a new constitution but reiterated it is a long term process that needs a serious evaluation. 

“On new constitution, I urge you to go and work on it and come up with concrete recommendations that every Tanzanian must understand. I agree that the new constitution is a long term process, but we need first to work on the minor faults we face. Perhaps we may not need to change the whole constitution, but making some slight reforms,” – President Samia said.
