Following the ongoing truck drivers’ boycott, the Prime Minister has called an emergency meeting at his office in Tanzania’s capital Dodoma today, July 26, 2022.

The minister who attended the meeting includes the minister for internal affairs, Hon Hamad Masauni, TAMISEMI minister, Hon Innocent Bashungwa and the state minister for work, youth, employment and people with disability, Hon Prof Joyce Ndalichako.

The official Prime Minister’s statement has not yet been released concerning the meeting held over the ongoing boycott reportedly occurring all over the country.
