The Ministry of Agriculture has formally announced the lifting of all restrictions previously imposed on the importation of agricultural products from South Africa and Malawi. This decision follows ongoing diplomatic and technical engagements aimed at resolving the matter.
A statement issued by the Ministry indicates that the governments of Malawi and South Africa have been in communication with both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture, to collaboratively seek a sustainable resolution.
