Brussels Airlines Launches Twice-Weekly Kilimanjaro Flights Starting June 2026

Brussels Airlines has announced plans to launch two weekly flights between Brussels and Kilimanjaro starting June 2026, further expanding its footprint in sub-Saharan Africa to 18 destinations. The new service will operate every Wednesday and Saturday using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Kilimanjaro International Airport serves as the primary gateway for travelers visiting Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With this new addition, the airline strengthens its presence in East Africa, joining existing routes to Entebbe (Uganda), Kigali (Rwanda), Bujumbura (Burundi), and Nairobi (Kenya).

The A330-300 offers 288 seats across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for passengers.

Sub-Saharan Africa is our second home, and we’re delighted to add another attractive destination on this beautiful continent,” said Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO of Brussels Airlines. “Tanzania is a top safari destination, and we’re proud to support the local economy by connecting Kilimanjaro to Brussels and beyond.”
