Dodoma Regional Police have arrested a TARURA driver in Dodoma District, Sath Masawa, 31, for allegedly threatening a SATCO bus driver, Said Fadhili, 54, with what was believed to be a pistol while the latter was returning from refuelling. He is also accused of scratching a TARURA-owned Land Cruiser LX 70 Series.

Police said that after arresting and searching Masawa, they discovered that the object he had been wearing around his waist was a toy gun and not a real firearm.

Police also found that the vehicle was not using its genuine registration number but was instead displaying a registration number belonging to another person.
