Through the Medical Stores Department (MSD), the government has handed over modern generators to the District Hospitals of Lushoto and Muheza.

These generators were provided in response to requests from these hospitals to MSD, aiming to enhance healthcare services for citizens.

Dr Godfrey Andrew, Chief Medical Officer of Lushoto District Hospital, expressed gratitude to the government for its efforts in improving the healthcare sector. He noted that the generator will ensure the continuity of services even during power outages.

Nuru Kionywaki, a Nurse at Muheza District Hospital, mentioned that the services provided by MSD have been reliable. She highlighted that the hospital ordered the generator a short while ago, and it has now been delivered.
