Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has assured Tanzanians that the government will ensure voters safety throughout the entire electoral process, including voters registration and polling day during the 2025 General Election.

PM Majaliwa stressed that the government is committed to creating a secure and peaceful environment that enables citizens to fully participate in the democratic process.

“As the government, we are one of the key stakeholders in this process. We are educating the public on the importance of registering and the responsibility of mobilizing voters to participate in the elections and choose leaders who wil bring them development.”

The assurance came as a response to a question fron Nkasi North MP Aida Khenani (CHADEMA), who expressed concern over the declining trend in voter turnout in past elections.
