Mozambican President Begins Three-Day State Visit to Tanzania

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, H.E. Daniel Francisco Chapo, has arrived in Tanzania today for a three-day State Visit, following an official invitation from Tanzanian President H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

This visit marks President Chapo’s first official trip to Tanzania since he assumed office on January 15, 2025.

During the visit, the two leaders are expected to hold bilateral talks aimed at strengthening the longstanding relations between Tanzania and Mozambique. The discussions will focus on enhancing cooperation in key sectors including trade, infrastructure, energy, and security. The visit is also anticipated to explore new areas of partnership that will bring mutual benefits to both nations.
