Masdar, a leading renewable developer based in UAE, has inked an agreement with Tanzania Electric Supply (Tanesco) to develop renewable energy projects in the East African country.
The MoU was signed the Masdar’s CEO Mohammed Jameel Al-Ramahi and Maharage Chande, Managing Director of TANESCO.
This is the second agreement Masdar has signed in the past 12 months to develop clean energy capacity in East Africa. Masdar and TANESCO will work closely to diversify Tanzania’s energy to drive economic development.
