Tanzania Hosts 2026 Investment Summit to Unlock Major Deals and Global Capital.

Tanzania is set to host the Investment Summit 2026 in Arusha from June 3–5, bringing together global investors, financial institutions, and government leaders to drive large-scale investment into the country.

The summit is designed as a deal-focused platform, targeting concrete investment commitments rather than just discussions. It aims to secure funding for 8 to 10 priority projects with a combined value of around $100 million, signaling a shift toward actionable investment outcomes.

Key sectors highlighted include tourism infrastructure, transport, renewable energy, water, blue economy, and agro-processing—areas seen as critical to Tanzania’s long-term economic transformation.

The three-day event will follow a structured approach: starting with policy and investment climate discussions, moving into detailed project evaluations, and concluding with direct deal-making sessions between investors and project developers.

Organized under the Tanzania Investment Growth Facility (TIGF) with support from partners such as UNDP and ESRF, the summit is part of a broader strategy to position Tanzania as a competitive, reliable destination for sustainable and bankable investments.

Overall, the summit reflects Tanzania’s growing push to connect global capital with national development priorities—turning investment opportunities into real projects that drive inclusive economic growth.
