The oldest Rhino (Rajabu) won’t be buried,  says TANAPA

A few days ago, the Tanzania national parks (TANAPA)announced the death of a 43-year-old rhino named ‘Rajabu’, one of the oldest Rhinos in Tanzania.

TANAPA – Senior Assistant Conservation Commissioner – Corporate Communication, Mr Pascal Shelutete, said yesterday, March 22, 2022, that ‘Rajabu’ will not be buried but preserved for displaying as the national treasure.

“We are still thinking of how and where to preserve the body, but generally, we will preserve it for displaying”, – Said Shelutete.
