The high-level business delegation has arrived in Tanzania to seek trade and investment opportunities in the agriculture and livestock value chain.
Tanzania Investment Centre welcomed the delegation on July 17, 2022. Speaking with the delegation during the meeting on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam, the Deputy Minister for Investment, Industries and Trade, Exaud Kigahe, assured investors that Tanzania has enough attractive investment areas.
Kigahe also noted that, until June 2022, a total of 62 investment projects operated by Oman were registered by TIC worth Tsh. 700 billion expected to produce more than 2000 jobs for Tanzanians.
The investors have established investment projects in real estate, agriculture, commercial, and tourism, thus contributing to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
Ambassador of Tanzania to Oman Abdallah Kilima said the visit is part of the response to President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s tour to Oman that she conducted last month.
