Freeman Mbowe, a CHADEMA head, has told the press today, March 18, 2022, that the CHADEMA had sent the letter to the speaker to rescind the 19 CHADEMA special seats MP’s. Thus, the speaker is aware of their status in the parliament.

Mbowe then said the general council expects to convene on March 25, 2022, to see if they have submitted any appeals. 

“CHADEMA has never appointed special seats MP’s, I reiterate, CHADEMA has never” – Mbowe.
