Tycoon Rostam Azizi, just two weeks after trending on social media after becoming the new owner of Tigo and Zantel, has again surfaced across social media after being spotted in President Samia’s delegation to the United States of America. 

Many people online seemed unclear about Rostam’s dealing in the USA, as was seen in a picture signing some documents while President Samia gazed at his right side. 

At the sideline of President Samia’s visit to the US, Rostam met with the President of the Africa Development Bank (AfDB), Mr Akimwumi Adesina. Rostam has urged the AfDB to shore up adequate financing to transform Tanzanians Tsh $12 billion agriculture sector. 

Rostam’s request is intended to help Tanzania become a global food exporter and assist the world in meeting its food requirements. Mr Aziz and AfDB top convened at Washington DC. 

Also, while in the US, Tycoon Rostam Aziz signed several investment agreements, including a $1 billion deal between Taifa Group and an American Investment Company, Northern Feed & Company, to produce wheat and Soya.
