The United Arabs Emirates (UAE) has reopened its doors to Travellers from Tanzania starting tomorrow, January 29, 2022.
Last December, UAE extended its ban imposed on flights from some African countries, including Tanzania, to end on Christmas eve indefinitely.
The nation, on Wednesday, lifted the ban on 11 other countries; Kenya, Ethiopia, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Congo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Namibia.
The reason for banning travellers from Tanzania followed after travellers tested positive for COVID-19 on arrival to Dubai.
Tanzania Aviation Authority source said, “Emirates have confirmed to resume flight operations with effect from January 30,” however, Flydubai has not yet confirmed as to when their flights will resume with their Dar-Dubai-Dar route.
