The Tanzania Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau has unleashed an investigation on the former Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Paul Makonda, who is currently facing charges of abuse of public office and raiding of a radio station (Clouds FM) in 2017.

The Director for PCCB Commissioner Salum Hamduni said that PCCB officials are now conducting an undercover investigation and gathering critical information concerning all allegations facing Paul Makonda.

“Our officials are currently conducting an intelligence information before we release order for his arrest,” – said Hamduni when responding to Rais Mwema journalist.
